Shaklee is a network marketing company whose headquarters are located in Pleasanton, California.  The company origins begin with Dr Forrest Shaklee Jr in 1915 when he created one of the world’s first multi vitamins called Vitalized Minerals.  The doctor went on to found the company in 1956.

In the skin care department, the company has a product called Enfuselle Nutrition Therapy.  The company says that this product is guaranteed to make your skin reverse 10 years in age and that results can be seen in 28 days.

Shaklee has a scientific advisory board to ensure that the products that they produce are safe and effective.

This type of business would appeal to those that like healthier alternatives to the toxic elements we encounter every day in our homes.  And the fact that they do not test on animals is another  good selling point.

One can get started for $299 as a Gold Ambassador.  Earnings potential is based on a number of factors including the individual’s skill level at marketing.  Top distributors in the company earn over $1 million per year.  There are others that don’t earn as much but would certainly be considered significant income.  However, as with all MLM companies, the majority of people in a Shaklee business will not earn any substantial income.

In order to succeed with this business would require you to market to a large source of people on a continual basis.  Many people that join up to be a distributor may never bring one person on board, though some of these same people will remain loyal customers for years.

So if you enjoy talking and presenting the business opportunity and product to thousands of people and you enjoy the products, then Shaklee is probably a good fit for you.  Anyone can succeed in a Shaklee business if they implement effective online strategies and techniques.
